So I was chilling at Cabaret Vintage spinning up content and guess what? The 1,000 Cups tour came for a visit. They are taking Seatle’s Best Coffee across Canada and documenting all the Canadianna they can find. This is another bright and shiny idea from the smarties at Creature. So what else to check out in Toronto than vintage?

Here are some pics that I took and stay tuned for a multitude of pictures of me wearing funky vintage hats over my ‘fro. For some reason Anthony (Key Photographer) liked taking pictures of me in hats and looking slightly uncomfortable (I suck at photos).

Three Truths of Canadians I Imparted to the Neighbours/Neighbors

1. Cheese curds are a prerequisite for good poutine (shredded cheese does not cut it). However, squeaky curds or soft curds can be a personal choice.

2. Like Americana, we do have Canadiana though sometimes it does indeed involve more plaid and beavers.

3. Yes, we have a lot of live music, and boy do we love it.

Someone please, tell me when it became the second week of August!?!

Summer is beginning to fly by and while I’m sad to see all the summer clothing go in the stores, I am looking forward to finally wearing long pants longer skirts and boots again. I know, blasphemy but I’ feeling like its time to switch things up style-wise.

Just got in some samples as well for accessory line we’re working on. Pretty hush-hush right now, however it will be ready to unveil in a couple of weeks. Look for more information coming up soon.

Ever since the new Baby Phat ads with Kimora Lee Simmons showed up on the net a few weeks ago, many people have been wondering how the below image is possible. As one of the closeted people who have watched (guiltily I know) her over produced, pink-rhinestone induced fantasy of a reality-show “Life In The Fab Lane”; you know that Ms. Simmons though being a former model, mommy of 2, and clotheshorse also loves her foodie treats recently and has been working on her weight.

I think she looks fantastic the way she looks on the red carpet now, however this ad looked like someone had taken some liberties with the filters in CS4. Photoshop Disasters now has posted what may be the source of her quick body transformation - a quick cmd+v of another model’s body.
